Combining Career and Family / Forschen mit Kind

Parenthood must not be a reason to refrain from a career at University. Therefore the GCSC supports PhD-scholars who are or become parents during their membership at the GCSC. We want to pay tribute to the manifold challenges which scholars with children face. Our unique program “Combining Career and Family” wants to create a child-friendly atmosphere and a supportive surrounding to enable the combination of scholarship and parenthood.

Forschung oder Familie? Nein, Forschung UND Familie! Das GCSC unterstützt promovierende Eltern mit einem einzigartigen Programm, das die Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Doktorarbeit fördern will. Elternschaft darf kein Ausschlußkriterium für eine Karriere an der Universität sein.
