Annual Reporting and Feedback
Once a year the GCSC asks its members to report their research activities as well as the progress of their PhD project. The contents of the reports are only made available to the Executive Board, the Research Coordinator, and the respective first supervisor. Individual feedback on the quality of supervision will not be forwarded to the supervisors.
Doctoral students receive feedback from the Executive Board, especially the Graduate Studies Executive, via e-mail from Dr Beatrice Michaelis, Assistant to the Graduate Studies Executive. These reports give PhD candidates the opportunity to schedule a meeting with Prof Horst Carl, Graduate Studies Executive, to discuss any matter related to their project and their GCSC membership.
Report forms are usually sent out by May with a deadline for submission in July. Feedback will be provided in due course.
